In 2020 we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our non-profit organization Persephone. For this occasion we made an unusual film.

Choreographer and dancer Nelle Hens (ONT MOET) is the creator of this film. She suggested meeting our members at their homes, one-on-one or in small groups. There she provided a framework in which silence, singing, dance and conversation were given space.

In Sarah Lederman Nelle found the film director student with whom she would travel throughout the Flemish country. They enhanced each other’s creativity. At each home visit they suggested a dance and asked two questions. The first question was “What are you dreaming of?” and the second, “What does Persephone mean to you?”. The short film resulting from those encounters, is entitled “Moving Dreams”. It lasts fifteen minutes. You can find the international version of the film here.
